Convergence Report · Q3 2026

Longevity became infrastructure this quarter. A $50 copay, a $7 billion scanner, a clock inside a clinical trial.

Q3 2026 moved longevity out of the lab and into payment systems and measurement products. Medicare began covering obesity drugs at $50 a month and enrolled 600,000 seniors in two months; Lilly reported $23.0 billion in quarterly revenue while its US net price fell; consumer measurement companies raised $1.15 billion in July; and a Phase 2a trial reported biological age through six proteomic clocks. Rejuvenation therapeutics produced no clinical readout inside the quarter. This report maps each layer with primary sources and sets out three decisions with dates.

vs Q2 2026: AI moves from 5/5 to 4/5. Capital kept flowing (Chai $400M, Insilico's first profitable half), but there was no new efficacy readout from an AI-designed drug in an aging or metabolic indication, Isomorphic Labs stayed preclinical and Recursion's quarterly revenue fell to $7.7M from $19.2M. Health Evolution holds at 5/5. Robotics, Quantum and Energy hold.

Page 02 · The Payer Shift

Volume up 37%, price down. The state became the obesity payer.

On July 1, 2026, CMS opened the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. Beneficiaries pay $50 a month for Wegovy, the Wegovy pill, Foundayo or Zepbound, outside Part D, through December 31, 2027. On September 18 the White House reported that 600,000 seniors had used it and saved $216 million in its first two months. A drug class that a year earlier was mostly paid by employers and by patients in cash now has the largest public payer in the United States behind it.
